--- 🌺 The Story of Ramayana A long time ago, in the kingdom of Ayodhya, there lived a wise and kind king named Dasharatha. He had four sons — Rama, Lakshmana, Bharata, and Shatrughna. Rama, the eldest, was brave, noble, and loved by everyone. When Rama was about to become king, his stepmother Kaikeyi wanted her own son Bharata to rule instead. She reminded King Dasharatha of an old promise, asking him to send Rama away to the forest for 14 years. The king, though heartbroken, agreed. Rama accepted his exile with calmness and respect. His wife Sita and his loyal brother Lakshmana chose to go with him into the forest. While they lived there, the demon king Ravana of Lanka saw Sita’s beauty and decided to kidnap her. With the help of his magic chariot, he took Sita to his island kingdom. When Rama discovered that Sita was missing, he was filled with sorrow. He met Hanuman, the mighty monkey devotee, who promised to help find her. Hanuman leaped across the ocean to Lanka, found Sita, and gave Rama’s message to her — that he would come to rescue her soon. Rama, with the help of Hanuman and the monkey army led by Sugriva, built a bridge across the ocean and fought a great battle against Ravana. After a fierce fight, Rama defeated Ravana and rescued Sita. After 14 years, Rama, Sita, and Lakshmana returned to Ayodhya. The people welcomed them with lights and joy — this day is celebrated as Diwali, the festival of lights. Rama became king and ruled wisely, bringing peace and happiness to evidence
